The civil revision petition is filed seeking direction to dispose of HMOP No.84 of 2022 on the file of Sub Court, Panruti, (originally HMOP No.158 of 2021 on the file of the Family Court, Ariyalur).
2. The petitioner is the husband and the respondent is the wife in HMOP No.84 of 2022 on the file of the Sub Court, Panruti. The petitioner/husband has filed the said petition seeking divorce. The petitioner was originally filed the petition before the Family Court, Ariyalur in HMOP No.158 of 2021. Subsequently, the petition was transferred and renumbered as HMOP No.84 of 2022. The petition was filed in the year 2022 and the same is still pending. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed this present civil revision petition for a direction to the Trial Judge to dispose of the case within a time frame.
3. Further, pursuant to the direction of this Court, the Registry, on verification through e-filing, has reported that the total pendency of the Sub Court, Panruti, is 1041 cases.
4. Considering the total pendency of the cases and also taking note of the fact that the above petition was filed in the year 2022, the Sub Court, Panruti is directed to dispose of HMOP No.84 of 2022, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
