PRAYER:- The Writ Miscellaneous Petition Criminal is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to extend the ordinary leave granted by this Honble Court in the above writ petition in WP.Crl.250/2025 dt.22.8.25 without escort to the husband of Petitioner/namely K.Senthil Kumar, Life Convict No.24027, detained in Central Prison, Vellore for seven days as per rule 21(2)(c) Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules.

This Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the ordinary leave granted by this Court in W.P.Crl.250 of 2025 dated 22.08.2025, without escort to the husband of petitioner, namely K.Senthil Kumar, Life Convict No.24027, detained in Central Prison, Vellore, for seven days as per rule 21(2)(c) Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that this Court, vide order dated 22.08.2025, granted 21 days ordinary leave to the convict, commencing from 30.08.2025 to 19.09.2025, without escort. As per the order of this Court, the convict has availed the leave and also surrendered before the Jail Authority on 19.09.2025.

3. Since the convict has already surrendered before the Jail Authority, there is no question of extension of ordinary leave granted to him. Hence, this Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. No costs. (J.NISHA BANU J.) (S.SOUNTHAR J.) 25-09-2025 ASI To
