Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order bearing Na.Ka.No.1008/2013/H1 dated 02.11.2023 issued by the third respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to absorb and regularize the services of the petitioners within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the order bearing Na.Ka.No.1008/2013/H1 dated 02.11.2023 issued by the third respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to absorb and regularize the services of the petitioners within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2/4
2.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were recruited as Non-Muster Roll employees for the post of Driver in Pammal Municipality during the year 2000. Subsequently, the Pammal Municipality merged with Tambaram Corporation. The petitioners made representation to the Pammal Municipality seeking to regularize their services on 04.09.2007 and since there was no response, filed W.P.No.23851 of 2010 and pursuant to the order of this Court dated 21.06.2023 made in the said writ petition, the impugned order was passed by the third respondent.
3.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners further submitted that this Court may without going into the merits of the case, grant liberty to the petitioners to approach the appropriate Authority for regularization of service or to approach the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishment (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981.
4.Recording the submission made by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners, this writ petition stands 3/4
