Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondent. With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has given a representation to the respondent on 26.10.2023, seeking to survey the land comprised in S.Nos.292/1E, 292/1D and 291/1B, measuring an extent of 47 cents, 83 cents and 3 1⁄2 cents in Appamasamudram Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District and fix the boundaries by erecting stone poles, by paying requisite fees through e-challan. Since there was no response from the respondent till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Since this writ petition is filed for a simple Mandamus to consider the representation of the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any view or opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.10.2023, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as rival claimants/interested Pg.Nos.2/4

parties if any as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
