ORDER

This application has been filed to amend the name of the applicant in the cause title, prayer and affidavit in A.No.3809 of 2025 by correcting the name as "B.Andal" instead of R.Andal", and consequentially to amend the order dated 05.08.2025 and to issue the cheque in the name of Mrs.B.Andal.

2. This application has been filed by the applicant stating that she has been representing herself by using the initial of her husband, whose name is Ravichandran. Hence, she is known as R. Andal in her records, especially in

Tr.O.P. No.735 and 736 of 2024. (LAOP.Nos.65 & 66 of 2020). However, in the application she has been narrated as R.Andal by giving the initial of her husband, Ravichandran.

3. The applicant now wishes to rectify the said discrepancy and to have her name correctly put as B. Andal by using the initial of her father, whose name is Baktavatchalam. It is also seen that her Aadhaar card reflects her name as B.Andal, though her husband's name is shown as Ravichandran.

4. In view of the above, this application is considered and allowed.

5. The applicant is directed to carry out the amendment.

6. After carrying out the amendment, let the registry issue the cheque after verifying the Aadhar card or any other proof of identity of the applicant.
