ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.A.Rajakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner; and, Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 to 4.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the fifth respondent has permit to run the bus service up to Thammampatty

Primary Health Centre (VAO Office Bus Stop), however, he is running the bus service by exceeding the permit limit and parking the bus inside the Thammampatty Arignar Anna Bus Stand.

3. Learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that the fifth respondent was called for an enquiry and in the enquiry, he has stated that only one day, he had parked the bus in the bus stand. He has been warned by the Regional Transport Officer. Learned Government Advocate further submits that in case some violations are found, then the authorities would take action against the fifth respondent in accordance with law.

4. In the light of the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. (S.V.G., CJ.) (D.B.C., J.) 09.01.2024 Index :
