ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to defreeze the petitioner's accounts maintained in City Union Bank, Valasaravakkam Branch Accounts, Current Account no.510909010087174, Savings Account no.117001002078382.
2.The petitioner's father is arrayed as A4 in crime no.182 of 2024 registered for the offences under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468 & 471 of IPC. In pursuant to the registration of FIR, the petitioner being the son of A4, money transactions had taken place between the petitioner's account and his father's account. According to the prosecution, the crime proceeds have been transferred to the petitioner's account and still investigation is pending. 2/5
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is doing second hand cars purchasing and selling business in the name and style of ''Bala Auto Consultant'' at Valasaravakkam, Chennai. He is also having GST Certificate and MSME Certificate for the past 5 years. The entire amount has been deposited into his account by way of his own income and no amount has been transferred from the petitioner's father account.

However, taking note of the prosecution case that the crime proceeds have been transferred to the petitioner's account, this Court is of the view that the relief sought for in this petition cannot be considered. Further, now the investigation was transferred from the file of the first respondent to the file of the third respondent. Therefore, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of twelve(12) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
