Prayer:This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, with a prayer to issue a writ of Mandamus by directing the Respondents, particularly the 2nd Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.12.2023, sent for a fair compensation for the acquired land, situated at No.3/402 A (Old No.3/136), East Coast Road, Palavakkam, Chengalpattu District, Chennai - 600 041, comprised in S.No.77/18 (part), sub-divided acquired property, comprised in S.No.77/18B, to an extent of 24Sq.mtrs.(258 Sq.ft.), out of 1574 Sq.ft., plus half share from 1174 Sq.ft.(Pathway), out of 4322 Sq.ft. 2. Mr.R.Thanjan, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have sent a notice to the petitioner for proposed enquiry. The proposed enquiry will take place on 30.01.2024.

3. The Respondents are directed to conduct the enquiry after giving notice to all the interested parties/rival claimants as the case may be and conduct enquiry in a manner known to law and pass orders on merits. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
