Today, the matter is taken up under the caption "For Clarification". The learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submits that, this Court had granted bail to the petitioner vide order dated 17.12.2024, taking into consideration the period of incarceration, stage of investigation and that the victim had been discharged from the hospital, whereas, it has been projected in some Media that, the bail was granted on the ground that, the learned Government Advocate was unable to respond to the questions raised by this Court, that whether any case has been registered against the victim/ Doctor for not giving proper treatment to the mother of the accused. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

The learned Public Prosecutor would further submit that no complaint has been given against the Doctor for any improper treatment and this Court had granted bail, taking into consideration the period of incarceration and the stage of investigation.

This Court has taken note of the fact that, no complaint has been preferred against the Doctor.
