ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.1055 of 2025, in Crl.A.No.112 of 2024, dated 24.01.2025, that the petitioner shall appear before the Special Court under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishment) Act, 1997, Chennai on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m,, until further orders passed by this Court. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

It is seen that while granting bail, this Court by an order dated 24.01.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.1055 of 2025, in Crl.A.No.112 of 2024, imposed one of the conditions that, the petitioner shall appear before the Special Court under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishment) Act, 1997, Chennai on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m,, until further orders. To relax the said condition, the petitioner filed the present petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is suffering from " Squamous Cell Carcinoam" - malignant cancer of tongue and is undergoing surgery. Hence, he prays for relaxation of the conditions.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is complying with the conditions regularly.

Considering the said submission, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is relaxed for a period of two months and thereafter the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police once in a month at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
