This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.33 of 2024 dated 15.01.2024 on the file of the first respondentPolice, as against the petitioner.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police submitted that on the complaint given by the second respondent herein/de-facto complainant, the first respondent-Police registered a case in Crime No.33 of 2024 against the petitioner herein/A1 and another for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 153, 419, 469, 505(1)(b) of IPC read with 66(D) and 67 of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act. He further submitted that investigation is almost over, voice samples were already sent to Forensic Laboratory and awaiting for FSL report. Soon after receipt of the FSL report, final report will be filed by the respondent-Police. Hence he seeks time to file final report.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances and also considering allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court finds that prima 2/4

facie there are materials to proceed with the case against the petitioner further and this Court does not find any reason to quash the F.I.R against the petitioner. However, the first respondent-Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
