This writ petition has been filed to direct the sixth respondent to release the fifth and final instalment of the education loan amount of Rs.19,79,000/- in respect of petitioner's education loan account No.162000289878 within the time limit fixed by this Court. Page No:2/6
2. The case of the petitioner in a nutshell is as follows:- The petitioner is doing MBBS course at Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Medical College and Hostel, Salem. To pursue the said degree, sixth respondent has sanctioned educational loan for a sum of Rs.98,95,000/-. The loan will be directly disbursed by the sixth respondent bank to the educational Institution every year. The fifth and final instalment is due for payment in April 2024. Despite many requests made to the sixth respondent, they failed to disburse the educational loan amount to Vinayaka Mission, Kirupananda Variyar Medical College and Hostel, Salem. Hence, the petitioner had made a representation dated 19/8/2024 and on 9/9/2024 to the respondents 3 to 5. Since none have answered to the grievance of the petitioner, he has approached this Court by way of a writ petition praying for the relief as stated therein.
3. Heard Mr.T.Karunakaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.U.Dinesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the second respondent.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would be suffice if this Court issues direction to the sixth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19/8/2024 and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court.
5. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the sixth respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 19/8/2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
