The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.11.2023, registered for the offences under Sections 279, 308 and 304 (ii) of IPC r/w Sections 184 and 195 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in Crime No.270 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.
2. The learned Government Advocate stated that the petitioner under the influence of alcohol drove the car in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against the persons who were standing in the platform . Due to the said accident two persons died and five persons had been injured.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the complaint had been given by watchman who is working in a super market situated at the road where the accident took place. However, the complainant was unable to identify the petitioner . This aspect has to be decided only during the course of the trial.

4. Taking note of the serious nature of offence and the fact that two persons died and 5 persons injured, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
