Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 18.09.2024 thereby conduct proper enquiry and investigate into the death of her son, Vijay S/o. Selvarasu, aged about 20 years on 18.06.2024 registered in Crime No.473/2024 and identify the vehicle.

ORDER

The petition is filed for a direction directing the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking proper investigation in Crime No.473 of 2024 registered on the file of the 2nd respondent.

2. The petitioner's son met with an accident and died, due to which the second respondent registered the Crime No.473 of 2024 for the offence under Sections 279 & 304 IPC. It is the case of hit and run and the second respondent is yet to trace out the vehicle which was involved in the accident. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.473 of 2024 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a final report within twelve weeks.

3. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
