Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records, relating to the petitioner's husband detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide Dentention Order, dated 08.12.2023 on the file of the 1st Respondent herein made in proceedings Memo No.654/BCDFGISSSV/2023, quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the Respondent herein to produce the petitioner's husband namely Gopalakrishnan @ Gopal, S/o Narayanasamy, aged 55, before this Hon'ble High Court and set the petitioner's husband at liberty from detention, now the petitioner's husband is detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai.

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the

petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.449, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 23.01.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
