The petitioners/A2, A3 & A4 who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 120B, 406, 420 & 406(2) of IPC in Crime No.64 of 2023, seek anticipatory bail.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel, argued the matter for about nearly ten minutes. This Court after also heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and the arguments of the learned counsel for the Intervenor. The learned counsel for the petitioner then sought permission to withdraw the matter. The request had been stated before the dictation had been completed.
3. This Court is of the view that if the counsel is not ready to argue the case and is inclined to withdraw the petition, he should have sought permission of the Court, before the matter was taken up for hearing. kmm spending considerable time period, is not fair. He should maintain some decorum before this Court.
4. Recording the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
