This Petition has been filed under Section 372 of Indian Succession Act, 1925, r/w. Order XXV Rule 6 of the Original Side Rules for grant of Succession Certificate, to grant Succession Certificate in favour of the first Petitioner with power to collect the debts and to receive the dividend on and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the Schedule A and B in the Petition.

2.The deceased died on 19.07.2009, intestate leaving behind his wife, viz., Meenakshi Arunachalam/first Petitioner, his son viz., A.Alagappan/second Petitioner and his daughter viz., Anitha Meenakshi/third Petitioner. The Father and Mother of the deceased predeceased him. 3.The Petitioners 2 & 3 have stated that they have on objections whatsoever in the grant of Succession Certificate in favour of first Petitioner.

4.The Succession Certificate is required for the purpose of transferring the shares and savings account amount in the name of the deceased, Late.Arunachalam. The said assets in respect of which the Succession Certificate is required are of the values of Rs.15,26,559.00/-. 5.After following due procedure, the first Petitioner was invited to tender evidence. The first Petitioner viz., Meenakshi Arunachalam, was examined as PW1 and Exs.P1 to P8 were also marked as follows: S.No.

6.The learned Master has not received any objections from the general 2/4

public. The schedule B property is the bank account of the Central Bank of India, Teynampet Branch of the deceased Late V.R.Arunachalam. The Central Bank of India, Teynampet Branch lies within the jurisdiction of this Court.

7.In view of both oral and documentary evidences adduced before this Court, I find no impediment for grant of Succession Certificate. Hence, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in favour of the first Petitioner, in accordance with the rules. 30.08.2024 sai 3/4
