Prayer Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the petitioner's on-line application dated 03.03.2025 and to conduct survey of the land admeasuring an extent of 0.16 cents comprised in S.No.126/54A situated at No.19, Meetu Street, Periya Colony, Thirunindravur Village, Thiruvallur District, and demarcate the boundaries by availing the assistance of the third respondent in the event of any 1/6
obstruction from respondents 4 to 6 and erect fencing at the cost of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025. Since the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself and considering the nature of order that is to be passed herein, notices to the respondents 4 to 6 are dispensed with.
2. The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for following prayer:- i) For issuance of a mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the petitioner's on-line application dated 03.03.2025 and to conduct 2/6
survey of the petitioner's land and demarcate the boundaries by availing the assistance of the third respondent in the event of any obstruction from respondents 4 to 6 and erect fencing at the cost of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.09.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, being the lawful owner of the property made an application through on-line before the respondents 1 and 2 dated 03.03.2025 seeking for survey and fix the boundary stones, however, since the said application evoked no response, the petitioner made a representation dated 16.09.2025 to the first and second respondent for surveying the property, however, as on date, no action has been taken by the respondents 1 and 2 with regard to such Application and representation, which necessitated the petitioner to approach this Court by way of present Writ Petition seeking for aforesaid relief.

The learned Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 and 2 fairly submitted that the application made by the petitioner would be considered and appropriate steps would be taken by the respondent3/6
Authority for demarcation of the petitioner's property within the time as stipulated by this Court.
5. The learned Government Advocate for third respondent would submit that the respondent-Police would render all possible assistance, enabling the revenue officials to survey the petitioner's property without any hindrance from any other third parties.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer, sought for in this Writ Petition and in view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate for respondents 1 and 2 and 3 respectively, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1 and 2 respondent to consider the on-line application made by the petitioner dated 03.03.2025 and also the subsequent representation dated 16.09.2025 and take suitable steps for conducting a survey in the petitioner's property and demarcate the same by metes and bounds after giving notice to all the interested parties, particularly, respondents 4 to 6 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say, in the event, any 4/6
obstruction is being caused by any respondents 4 to 6 or any other third parties, third respondent-Police is directed to take appropriate action against them in the manner known to law and shall render all kinds of assistance, as required, by the Revenue Officials for demarcation of the subject property. No costs.
