Ezhumalai, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner, sought leave of this Court to withdraw the captioned WP and captioned 'writ miscellaneous petition' [hereinafter 'WMP' for the sake of brevity] thereat, with liberty to file a fresh writ petition. Saying so, learned counsel for writ petitioner has made an endorsement in the case file, a scanned reproduction of which is as follows:
