O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioners on 27.06.2025, wherein the petitioners have sought for issuance of patta in their names.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioners is that she along with her husband purchased the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 28.01.2004 registered as Document No.322 of 2004. On 27.06.2025, the petitioner applied through online for issuance of patta in their names. Since there was no progress, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioners on 27.06.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and do the needful within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
