Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein to issue the Joint Patta in respect of Patta Nos.874, 863, 835, 933, GR Patta 68 and 901 in Kottaiyur Village and Kilacheri Post, Thiruvallur Taluk and District in the name of the legal heirs of Vedachala Naicker as per legal heirship certificate issued by the 3rd respondent within a time frame as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to issue a joint patta in respect of patta Nos.874, 863, 835, 933 GR patta 68 and 901, situated in Kottaiyur Village and Kilacheri Post, Thiruvallur Taluk, in the name of the legal heirs of Vedachala Naicker, based on the legal heirship certificate issued by the third respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands

disposed of. No costs.
