This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order passed under Section 3 (2) (e) of the Foreigners Act, 1946. A Division Bench of this Court in H.C.P.No.1608 of 2020 (Rajalakshmi vs. State of Tamil Nadu and others) decided on 08.10.2021 in paragraph no.21 has clearly held as follows:

"21. In view of the aforesaid discussion, we hold that a petition challenging an order passed by the State Government under Section 3(2)(e) of the Foreigners Act cannot be registered as a habeas corpus petition and at the most, be registered as a writ petition to be heard by a single Bench, as could be inferred from the Division Bench judgment of this Court in Karunairaj (supra)."
