PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner on the guise of enquiry and pass suitable orders.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) reports that the petitioner is arrayed as accused in Crime No.611 of 2023 and the investigation is pending before the respondents Police.

4. Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
