The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985 and Section 77 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 in Crime No.162 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The learned Public Prosecutor, Union Territory of Puducherry, for the respondent stated that, after investigation, a Final Report has been filed and the same has been taken cognizance as Spl.S.C.No.70 of 2023 by the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Puducherry. The petitioner has been shown as absconding accused and NBW has also been issued against the petitioner. 3.In view of the above, this petition seeking anticipatory bail will not lie.
