Crl.O.P.No.29248 of 2023 Crl.O.P.No.29248 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN,J.

The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 5(1)(a), 4(1), 8(a) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 in Crime No.968 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.It is the specific case of the respondent that the petitioner is the owner of the place at Irumpulliyur near Tambaram where the respondent had rescued three victim women who had been forced into prostitution. It is claimed that the petitioner/A1 is the owner of the place and A2 is the broker/mediator and A3 is the auto driver who brought the unfortunate women to that particular place.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that A2 and A3 had been arrested and later, granted bail. He also stated that the petitioner had handed over the place to some other person.

4. I am not able to take that statement into consideration because the name of the person who had taken possession has not been stated. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
