Heard Mr.C.T. Ramesh, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1, 2, 3 and 5 and M/s. Madhri. G, the learned counsel for the sixth respondent. Though the fourth respondent has been served, and his name is printed in the cause list, none appears on his behalf.
2. In this Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondents 1, 5 and 6 to register a case against the respondents 2 and 3, in pursuance of his representation, dated 19.09.2003.
3. The matter pertains to an auction conducted in respect of a toddy and arrack shop by the respondent for the period from 01.07.2003 to 30.06.2004. Admittedly, the period itself is over. In such circumstances, no direction, as sought for by the petitioner can be issued in this Writ Petition at this juncture. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
