ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by C.V.Karthikeyan J.) The petition has been filed seeking stay of the judgment and decree dated 12.09.2023 in OS No.153 of 2014 on the file of the Principal District Judge, Tiruppur.

2.The said suit had been filed by the respondents/plaintiffs for recovery of a sum of Rs.40,85,234/- together with interest and costs. The suit had been decreed in the year 2023. Appeal had been filed in the year 2024. The present application seeking stay has been filed in the year 2025. The respondents have entered appearance on Caveat.

3.It is now informed by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents that even pending suit, the petitioner had sold the property without informing the Court. EP is now pending. The petitioner herein has delayed the process and can very well argue the appeal itself. We are not inclined to allow this petition and the petition stands dismissed. (C.V.K.,J.)
