Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent herein (Tahsidlar) to change the name of Legal heirs of deceased Bairan in patta No.244, S.Nos.300/9 and 300/10A at Nallur Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District, considering the representation dated 07.10.2024 made by the petitioner to the respondents 1 to 3 to change the name in patta pass book. 1/4

ORDER

The petitioner has made a representation dated 07.10.2024 to the third respondent to correct the name of the petitioner's grandfather in the Patta No.244 of 2023.

2. The petitioner would contend that the petitioner's grandfather Bairan's name has been wrongly shown as Ottiappa in the Patta No.244 of 2023 and Rajagopal in the Patta No.432. The said Ottiappa is the brother of the said Bairan and Rajagopal is some third party. To correct the same, a representation has been made by the petitioner on 07.10.2024, which has not been considered. Aggrieved this, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the limited relief claimed by the petitioner, a mandamus is issued to the third respondent to consider the representation dated 07.10.2024 submitted by the petitioner and 2/4

dispose of the same, after giving a personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
