ORDER

The respondent wife in a petition for divorce filed by the respondent herein is the petitioner before this Court seeking to transfer I.A.No.1 of 2024 in H.M.O.P.Sr.No.1592 of 2024 pending on the file of 1/4

the Family Court, Karur, to the file of the Sub Court, Avinasi. 2.The transfer has been sought on the following reasons:- a)The petitioner is residing at Tiruppur and the respondent has filed the petition for divorce before the Family Court, Karur. Originally, H.M.O.P. was not numbered and it is has since been numbered as H.M.O.P.No.767 of 2024 on the file of the Family Court, Karur. b)The petitioner has to travel to Karur for every hearing, since the matter is pending before the Family Court. The petitioner is an Advocate. On account of her family and health issues she is not able to practise as before. Therefore, she is entirely depending on her aged parents for maintenance.

c)The respondent is not giving any maintenance to the petitioner. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

4.Taking note of the above reasons, request for transfer appears to be justifiable. Therefore, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and I.A.No.1 of 2024 in H.M.O.P.Sr.No.1592 of 2024 is 2/4

withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Karur and transferred to the file of the Sub Court, Avinasi. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
