ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the 1 st respondent to pass appropriate order of removing the petitioner's name from the Rowdy History Sheet bearing No.HS/104/2020.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a Law Graduate and due to animosity with a neighbour, a false case was registered against the petitioner in the year 2020 in Crime No.1788 of 2020 for 2/6

the offence under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(2) IPC and subsequently, the respondent police opened a History Sheet against the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that a case has been registered against the petitioner for the offence under Section 307 IPC.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. It is seen that except the ground case, there is no other case against the petitioner. The petitioner is not a habitual offender. He is an youngster and also a Law Graduate. Only based on one FIR, the respondent police have opened History Sheet against the petitioner.

6. Therefore, the respondent police is directed to remove the name of the petitioner from the History Sheet. Further, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.1788 of 2020 and file charge sheet as early as possible.

7. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
