Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly a writ in the nature of writ of certiorari calling for the records relating to the impugned letter/communication issued by the 2nd respondent bearing No.SR/2-302/2001/NFPE ED dated 22.11.2004 and quash the same. The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to quash the communication issued by the second respondent in proceedings dated 2.11.2004.

2. The impugned letter was issued by the Assistant Director(SR & WLF) for Chief PMG. TN Circle, stating that the Trade Union facilities extended to the Circle Office bearers of the All India Extra Departmental Employees Union may please be withdrawn immediately. The impugned order was passed during the year 2004, and during pendency of the writ petition for the past 13 years, lot of changes took place in respect of providing facilities to the employees as well as office bearers of the recognized Trade Unions. In view of the lapse of time, the grounds raised in the present writ petition deserves no further adjudication. However, if at all grievances exist in the present writ petition as of now, it is left open to them to adjudicate the same in the manner known to law. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
