In all Crl.O.Ps For Petitioners : Mr.P.Rajkumar Pandian For R1 and R2 : Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan Government Advocate (Crl.side) COMMON ORDER This matter is posted today before this Court under the caption 'For Being Mentioned' at the instance of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that there is some clarification in Paragraph No.26 of the order dated 13.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.Nos.31418, 31419, 31425, 31426 and 31429 of 2024. Hence, he prayed for suitable directions.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, this petition is clarified and Paragraph No.26 of the order dated 13.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.Nos.31418, 31419, 31425, 31426 and 31429 of 2024 shall read as follows:- "26. The second respondent is directed to entrust the entire case diary in respect of their respective FIRs to the CBCID, forthwith. On receipt of the entire case diary, the Additional Director General of Police, CBCID, Chennai is directed to appoint an Investigating Officer not below the rank of Deputy
Superintendent of Police of CBCID and complete the investigation and file a final report, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of case diary. The Director General of Police (Administration), Chennai is directed to monitor the investigation and ensure that the fair and proper investigation to be done in all the cases registered against the petitioner. The Investigation Agency is directed to complete the investigation in Crime Nos.180, 182, 266, 181 and 176 of 2024, without being influenced by any of the observations made by this Court, while transferring the investigation and investigate the matter independently and file a final report."
4. Registry is directed to correct the order dated 13.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.Nos.31418, 31419, 31425, 31426 and 31429 of 2024, as above and issue order copy afresh.
