ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the application for renewal of passport and subsequently direct the 1st Respondent to issue the passport to the petitioner based on the settled position of law.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner had made application before the first respondent for renewal of passport and the same was not issued. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners application within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Central Government Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the application will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 14.09.2022 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
