Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to change the land classification of S.no. 375/4 situated at Majaracholaiserry, Karuvandha Village, Veerakeralam Taluk, Tenkasi Division, Tirunelveli District from Harijjananatham to Roytwari and issue patta in favour of petitioner's family members.

The Writ Petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondents to change the land classification of S.no. 375/4 situated at Majaracholaiserry, Karuvandha Village, Veerakeralam Taluk, Tenkasi Division, Tirunelveli District from Harijjananatham to Roytwari and issue patta in favour of petitioner's family members".

2. Mr. A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, has produced a patta that has now been restored in the name of the original land owner and on instructions would submit that the petitioners who are the legal heirs can make an application before the concerned authorities, for mutation of the revenue records together with requisite death certificate, legal heirship certificate. On such application being made, the revenue records would be mutated in their name.

3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. 3/6

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
