Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated on 15.04.2025 in consonance with the Government order (Nilai) No 102 Department of Highways and Minor Ports (H.M.2) and direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner herein in the existing or future vacancies as Technical Assistant in regular time scale of pay.

The Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2025 in consonance with the Government Order (Nilai) No 102, Department of Highways and Minor Ports (H.M.2) and direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner herein in the existing or future vacancies as a Technical Assistant in regular time scale of pay.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though a larger prayer is sought for, it would suffice if the respondents are directed to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.04.2025, within a specific period.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit that though the petitioner claims that he has sent a representation on 15.04.2025, he has not annexed any acknowledgment to show that it was sent to the respondents.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 3/6

petitioner is ready to send a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent and the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the same, within a specific period.

5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to send a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent and upon receipt of such representation, the 3rd respondent shall consider and pass orders on the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks.
