This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent - Police herein to file a Charge Sheet in Crime No.119 of 2024 on the file 1/4

of the respondent/Police within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court and file final report before the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai - 600 008.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that since one of the offences involved in the case in Crime No.119 of 2024 pertains to Section 66-D of Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, the respondent-Police is facing difficulty to complete the investigation and file a final report. However, the investigation is under process and final report will be filed as early as possible.
