ORDER

Mrs. S. Mythreye Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader (Education), takes notice for the respondent. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 1/4

2. The relief sought in this writ petition is a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2025.

3. Short facts :- The petitioner was appointed as a Graduate Teacher (English) at Panchayat Union Middle School, Perambalur Block, Perambalur. While so, based on an alleged complaint lodged by one lady teacher, a criminal case was registered against the petitioner by the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Perambalur, in Crime No.34 of 2025, and an FIR was registered on 04.07.2025. Consequent to the said registration of the criminal case, he was placed under suspension on 07.07.2025. Later, he was released on bail on 17.07.2025. Thereafter, he submitted a representation to the respondent on 12.08.2025 seeking revocation of suspension, which has not evoked any response till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2025, within a time frame.

5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that only recently, the petitioner has been suspended and subsistence 2/4

allowance was also paid to the petitioner, upto August 2025. However, she no objection for issuance of appropriate directions by this Court in the above regard.

6. Considering the fair submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.08.2025, with regard to his claim for reinstatement into service, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
