ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 12.12.2024 against award passed by the 3rd respondent in ARC No.210/2020 dated 09.02.2021.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner joined the second respondent Chit company for Rs.50,000/- monthly chit. The petitioner paid the monthly chit from 2018 to March 2020. During Covid, he could not pay the chit amount. Therefore, the second respondent filed a case before the 3 rd respondent in ARC. No.210 of 2020 and the same was passed Ex-parte order on 09.02.2021. Challenging the said order, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent and the same is kept pending from 2024. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners appeal within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the appeal will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's appeal against the award passed by the 3 rd respondent dated 12.12.2024 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
