ORDER
This matter has been listed today under the caption "for being mentioned"at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner. 1/3
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that this Court, vide order dated 16.12.2024, has modified the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.29779 of 2024 dated 28.11.2024 and directed the petitioner to deposit the original title deed stands in the name of the petitioner or in the name of his friends or relatives (with face value not less than Rs.3 lakhs) instead of cash deposit. He further submitted that the petitioner does not own any property, however, he is ready to deposit a sum of Rs.3 lakhs to the credit of crime number, without prejudice to his defence. Hence, he prayed for a suitable direction.
3. In view of the above submission, the direction issued to the petitioner on 16.12.2024 is modified to the effect that, "the petitioner, without prejudice to the defence before the trial Court, is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakhs only) to the credit of Crime No.472 of 2024 before the court concerned".
4. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary correction and issue fresh copy of the order by 19.12.2024. Further, the time to execute the sureties is extended by two weeks from today.
