J U D G M E N T

[Judgement of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J] By an order dated 20.12.2024, we had required the Department to recognize petitioner as the hereditary trustee of Arulmigu Sri Vengeeswarar, Alagar Perumal and Nagathamman Koil Devasthanam, Vadapalani, Chennai. Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned counsel appearing for the HR & CE has produced orders dated 02.01.2025 made by the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE, Chennai Zone-II recognizing the petitioner as the hereditary trustee of the Temple in question. It is also stated that the charge of the Temple will be handed over to the petitioner before 26th of this month.

2. Recording the above statement, this Writ Appeal is disposed of. No costs.
