JUDGMENT
(Delivered by Dr. ANITA SUMANTH.,J) We had already recorded our impression of the matter under order 15.07.2025, as follows:
Prima facie, we are not inclined to entertain this writ appeal since 2/4
the learned Single Judge has recorded the pendency of O.S.No.274 of 2017 before the learned District Munsif (sic), Namakkal, inter se the parties. A direction has been issued for expeditious disposal of the suit and the statement of learned Senior Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner acceding to such direction has also been recorded at paragraph 6 of the order. Hence this appeal is itself not maintainable in view of that concession.
2.
Be that as it may, since Mr.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice for R1 to R9 and has been supplied with a set of papers by the appellant now, we adjourn this matter to 22.07.2025. No notice is issued at this juncture to private respondents.
2. The position remains status quo as recorded on 15.07.2025 and nothing is stated today by Mr.Abimanyu, learned counsel appearing for the learned counsel on record for the appellant that would persuade us to take a different view.
3. In light of the aforesaid, there is no merit in this appeal and the same is dismissed. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
