ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to FIR No.221/2025 dated 14/07/2025 on the file of the first respondent-Police and to quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint given by one Mr.Ganesh, the first respondent-Police had already conducted an enquiry and closed the said complaint. After six years, the very same complaint has been modified and registered as Crime No.221 of 2025 for the alleged offences under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC as against the petitioner.

4. On a perusal of the records, the allegation in the FIR indicates that the accused promised to get the job in Food Corporation and received a sum of Rs.8,60,000/- from the defacto complainant. The entire allegation appears to be with regard to job racketing and the same has to be investigated. At this stage, this Court is not inclined to quash the said F.I.R.
