O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 & 2 to pass orders on the representation dated 25.08.2025 seeking permission to withdrawal of 2/3rd amount from the current account No.30096934832 in the name of Precision Metal Formers forthwith in favour of the petitioners herein.
2. W.M.P.No.42169 of 2025 filed seeking to permit the petitioners to join together and file a single Writ Petition is ordered on payment of single Court fee.
3. The 1 st petitioner herein is the wife of one late Thiyagarajan, the 2 nd petitioner is their elder son and the 3 rd respondent herein is the younger son. It is the case of the 1 st petitioner that her husband was maintaining the current account 2/5
with the Respondent bank, Pallavaram Branch bearing A/c.No.30096934832. After the demise of her husband on 05.05.2021, the 1 st petitioner submitted a representation dated 25.08.2025 to the respondent bank seeking withdrawal of 2/3rd of the total amount lying to the credit of her deceased husband in favour of the petitioners. However, till date the said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioners have come up with the present Writ Petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners being the legal heirs of the deceased are entitled to receive 2/3rd of the entire amount lying to the credit of the current account of the deceased. Therefore, this Court may issue a direction to the respondent bank to disburse the amount lying with them for which, the petitioners are ready to execute any surety or undertaking affidavit.
5. Learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 & 2 submitted that, upon furnishing of sureties by the petitioners, 2/3 rd of the amount lying to the credit 3/5
of the subject account will be disbursed in favour of the petitioners within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Learned counsel appearing for the 3 rd respondent has no objection to the above contention with regard disbursement of the amount.
7. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent bank to disburse 2/3 rd of the total amount lying to the credit of the current account of the deceased within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order upon producing satisfactory sureties. 8. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There 4/5
shall be no order as to costs.
