ORDER

The petitioner seeks direction to dispose of C.C.No.651 of 2025 expeditiously, which is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1 at Tiruvallur, for the offence under Sections 406, 420 182 r/w 34 IPC.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he booked a house plot B11 with RRP Housing Pvt. Ltd. and paid total sum of Rs.15,43,005/- but only 40% of the construction is over and thereafter they stopped the construction. Hence, on the complaint of the petitioner, an FIR came to be registered in the year 2016 in Crime No.02 of 2016. Though the case is of the year 2016, the same has been taken on file recently in C.C.No.651 of 2025.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that there are 51 witnesses and summons has to be served to all of them and hence seeks time to dispose of the case.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Magistrate is directed to dispose of the case expeditiously within a period of eight months. The learned Magistrate shall issue summons to all the witnesses forthwith. On such summons being issued, the respondent Police shall serve summons to all the witnesses and produce them on the date of hearings. At any event, the entire trial shall be completed within a period of eight months.
