ORDER
This civil revision petition is filed seeking direction to the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate at Madhavaram to expedite the trial and dispose of the suit in OS.No. 12 of 2020.
2. The respondent/plaintiff filed a suit in O.S.No.189 of 2013 before the District Munsif, Thiruvottiyur for bare injunction against the petitioner/ defendant on 12.09.2013. The petitioner entered appearance and filed his written statement as early as on 02.01.2018. Subsequently, due to bifurcation of District Munsif, Thiruvottiyur, the said suit was transferred to the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram and the same was re- numbered as O.S.No.12 of 2020.
3. A perusal of the adjudication sheet would indicate that written statement of the petitioner/defendant was filed in the year 2018 and thereafter, there is no substantial progress in the case and Trial has not yet commenced. Taking into consideration the year of the suit and the fact that the pleadings were completed as early as in the year 2018, this court is inclined to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.12 of 2020, as expeditiously as possible.
4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
