ORDER

Aggrieved by the fact that the name of one Segan @ Palanisamy has been included in the joint patta of the petitioner without him having any right in the property.

2. The petitioner had submitted a representation to the first respondent on 26.02.2024, seeking rectification of the error. However, the same has not been taken up for consideration to date. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Taking into account of the fact that the relief claimed by the petitioner is only for considering the representation dated 26.02.2024, therefore, a mandamus is issued to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2024 seeking to removal of the name of one Segan @ Palanisamy, who has been 2/4

included in the joint patta. The first respondent shall issue notice to the petitioner as well as the said Segan @ Palanisamy, providing an opportunity of personal hearing to them and thereafter, pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
