This Sub Application has been filed to reopen the contempt petition No. 2615 of 2024 which was closed on 14.10.2024.
2. The relief already granted has been complied and culminated into a Government Order in G.O.(2D) No.111 dated 08.10.2024. The relief sought by the petitioner is to re-fix his seniority for the reasons stated by him in the Writ Petition. As the above benefit has been given to him, the Contempt Petition has been closed on the observation that nothing much needs to be done by way of complying the order.
3. Now, the learned counsel for the applicant / petitioner has stated that the order of re-working the seniority remains as a paper order and no further proposal for revised pension has been sent by the Government.
4. If the petitioner feels that he is in need of any further relief consequent to the order of refixing the seniority, the rightful course open to the petitioner is to file a fresh Writ Petition and not by reopening the contempt petition which was already closed.
