The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of O.P.No.1423 of 2016 on the file of the learned I Additional Judge, Family Court at Chennai.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 03.01.2025, I called for a report from the learned I Additional Judge, Family Court at Chennai to state as to how long she requires to dispose of O.P.No.1423 of 2016.

3. The learned I Additional Principal Judge has sent a report stating that the husband filed O.P.No.1423 of 2016 seeking for divorce and the wife filed O.P.No.3254 of 2016 seeking for restitution of conjugal rights. O.P.No.1423 of 2016 is posted for filing additional proof affidavit by the husband and for marking documents on 03.01.2025. The report further states that as on 08.01.2025, as many as 1355 cases are pending in their Court. The wife filed I.A.No.7 of 2023 for perjury and I.A.No.13 of 2024 seeking arrears of interim maintenance. The wife also filed applications for a direction to the husband to change the domestic gas connection, and for injunction, and the same are listed on 28.01.2025. Therefore, she requests 12 months time to dispose of the O.P.

4. Taking into consideration the report of the learned Trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court at Chennai to dispose of all the interlocutory applications within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this 2/4

order and dispose of O.P.Nos.1423 of 2016 & 3254 of 2016 within a period of nine months thereafter.
