Apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.728 of 2024 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 22(c) & 29(1) of NDPS 1/4

Act altered as Sections 8(c), 22(c), 29(1) & 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, the present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the co-accused were engaged in selling of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic substances and based on their confession the petitioner was arrested.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent. He has been falsely implicated in the present case based on the confession recorded from A18, who is the father-in-law of the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the petitioner was involved in possession and sale of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic substances and there are clear evidence to show that the petitioner is involved in selling O.G. Ganja and hence, he object for grant of anticipatory bail. 5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) and perused the materials available on record. 2/4

6.Taking into consideration the above submissions and the fact that A18 is the father-in-law of the petitioner and A19 is the brother-in-law of the petitioner and they have confessed that the petitioner, on their instruction travelled to Bangkok and purchased high quality O.G. Ganja. Since there are also materials available to show that the petitioner has flown to Bangkok frequently, which tallies with the statement given by the A18. this Court is not inclined to grant Anticipatory Bail.
