ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents herein to permit the petitioner for counselling under NRI quota in round 3 commencing on 29.09.2025 for the academic year 20252026. 2.

The petitioner had completed his +2 higher secondary examination and appeared for NEET UG 2025 examination and scored 113 marks out of 720. He is eligible to apply for the medical studies under OBC NCL category. Accordingly, the petitioner applied for and he was not selected for the MBBS Course during the first and second round of counselling. Now the petitioner obtained certificate from the sponsor in abroad and seeking direction to consider his candidature under the NRI

quota, since the seats are available under the NRI quota. 3.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 4.

Admittedly, the petitioner did not apply under the NRI quota for MBBS Degree course. Now two rounds of counselling were over and whatever the seats available under the NRI quota automatically shifted under the management quota. Therefore, the petitioner's candidature cannot be considered under the NRI quota.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
